Welcome to Race Grit Motorsports, a family-owned business fueled by passion, integrity, and a love for the racing community. Founded by Jorge and Brittany, along with our trusty shop dog, Rya , we are dedicated to offering top-tier automotive services and performance parts with a focus on helping enthusiasts get the most out of their cars.
Our roots run deep in motorsports. We've been immersed in the automotive world for over 15 years, and though we officially opened our doors in 2022, we've been building skills and nurturing our passion for cars for much longer. Based in California, we offer performance modifications and services that meet all local emissions standards, ensuring that your vehicle is as street-ready as it is track-ready.
At Race Grit, we're especially fond of Datsun and Z-series cars. Their timeless design and rich racing heritage are close to our hearts, and we take pride in working on these classic cars. But whether it’s a Honda Civic, a Mitsubishi Evo, or a 350Z, we’re all about making your car work its best on the track and on the road.
Our Story
Jorge's journey into racing started at a young age with BMX bikes, where his love for speed and skill development began. He always dreamed of being a race car driver, and that dream grew stronger with each car he owned. His first vehicle—a Ford Taurus—wasn’t just a car; it was a learning experience, as Jorge quickly realized the importance of vehicle repair after blowing the transmission three times. His passion for understanding the mechanics of a car led him to purchase an Acura Integra, which opened the door to the massive Honda scene. He later owned a Honda Civic and a Mitsubishi Evo, where he had his first taste of the track. From that first event, he knew racing was where he wanted to be.
Through challenges, setbacks, job changes, and personal growth, Jorge continued to pursue his dream. Today, he owns two 350Zs, a Datsun, a turbocharged MR2, and a Geo Tracker 4x4—each with its own unique purpose and character. His attention to detail, love for the cars, and dedication to the sport set him apart from the rest. Whether it’s coaching drivers, providing trackside services, or ensuring cars are running at their best, Jorge does it all with integrity and a deep-rooted passion for racing.
Family & Team
Jorge met Brittany in 2012, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Over the years, they’ve shared a love for motorsports, attending over 100 track events together. Brittany has learned a great deal from Jorge and is now working on becoming a seasoned track driver in her own right. The couple both drive 350Zs and continue to grow together in the sport they love. Their loyal companion, Rya the dog, is always by their side, greeting customers and ensuring the shop feels like a family space.
